GDPR

On May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46, comes into force /WE (commonly referred to as "GDPR"). RODO will apply to the same extent in all European Union countries, and thus also in Poland, and introduces a number of changes in the rules governing processing of personal data that will affect many areas of life, including the use of online services, such as the services of the online store www.belamila.pl. In this information, we present a summary of the most important issues regarding the processing of your personal data that may take place from May 25, 2018 in connection with the use of our services.

What is personal data

According to the GDPR, personal data is information about an identified or identifiable natural person. In the case of using our services, such data are e.g. e-mail address, IP address or your data defined in the User's account of our store. Personal data may be saved in cookies or similar technologies (e.g. local storage) installed by us or our Trusted Partners on our website and devices that you use when using our services.

Basis and purpose of processing

The processing of personal data requires a legal basis. The GDPR provides for several types of such legal grounds for data processing, and in the case of using our services, there will be, as a rule, three of them:

• Necessity of processing to conclude or perform a contract to which you are a party. The contract is, in our case, the regulations of a given service. Therefore, if we conclude a contract with you for the implementation of a given service (e.g. sale of products), we may process your data to the extent necessary to perform this contract. If you set up a user account with us, the contract for setting up this account authorizes us to process the data necessary to provide it (e.g. data provided by you in the profile of this account). Without this capability, we would not be able to provide you with the service and you would not be able to use it.

• Necessity of processing for purposes arising from legitimate interests pursued by the administrator or by a third party. This basis for data processing applies to cases where their processing is justified due to our justified needs, which includes, among others, the need to ensure the security of the service (e.g. checking whether an unauthorized person logs into your User account), performing statistical measurements, improving our services and adjusting them to the needs and convenience of users (e.g. personalizing content in services) as well as marketing and promotion of own services.

• Your voluntary consent. It is mainly needed when marketing services are provided to you by third parties (i.e. Trusted Partners, referred to below) and when we provide such services to third parties. In order to be able to show you the advertisements you are interested in (e.g. a product you may need), advertisers and their representatives must be able to process your data. Giving such consent is completely voluntary, and if you do not want to, you do not have to give it. Thanks to our solution, you also have the option to limit the scope or change your consent at any time. Your other rights resulting from granting consent are described below.

Your data, as part of our services, will be processed only if we or another entity that processes data has one of the legal grounds approved by RODO legal basis and only for the purpose adapted to the given basis as described above. Your data will be processed until there is a basis for their processing - i.e. in the case of consent until its withdrawal, restriction or other actions on your part limiting this consent, in the event of the necessity of data to perform the contract - for the duration of its performance, and in the event that the basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator - until the existence of this legitimate interest.
